Oh My Goddess! Job-Hunting Spinoff Manga Ends in October
The November issue of Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine revealed on Saturday that the Aa Shūkatsu no Megami-sama (Ah My Job-Hunting Goddess) spinoff manga based on Kousuke Fujishima's Oh My Goddess! (Ah My Goddess/Aa Megami-sama) manga will end in the next issue on October 25.
Yuhei Aoki (Manga ni, Henshū tte Hitsuyō desu ka?, Fringe-Man) is providing the story, and Kumichi Yoshizuki (Someday's Dreamers, Kimi to Boku no Ashiato) is drawing the manga. In the story, Keiichi Morisato and Belldandy lived in happiness, but due to the recession, the motorcycle shop Keiichi works at faces financial difficulties. Belldandy starts to search for a job because of the situation.
The authors launched the manga in Monthly Afternoon in January 2018. Kodansha published the manga's fourth compiled volume on August 23.
Fujishima launched the original Aa Megami-sama manga in Monthly Afternoon in 1988 and ended it in 2014. The manga inspired an original video anime series, three television series with a special, and three additional original anime DVDs.
Dark Horse Comics released the series in regular and omnibus volumes in North America.
Since ending Oh My Goddess!, Fujishima has launched the manga Toppu GP. Kodansha Comics is releasing the ongoing manga in English.
